We did not find these on Float’s website when we checked: an AI assistant you can ask questions, the chance of dropping below your buffer, a record of past forecast accuracy, and statutory late payment interest on overdue invoices.

Float may suit you better if

  • You want unlimited users on every plan.
  • You need monthly forecasts further than 12 months ahead (Growth and Scale go to 36 months).
  • You want an onboarding service included (listed on Growth and Scale).

Cadence may suit you better if

  • You want the forecast week by week across the whole year, not only the next 13 weeks.
  • You want VAT, PAYE and corporation tax in the forecast whichever accounting system you use.
  • You want to see the chance of dropping below your buffer and which customers it comes from (Professional).
  • You want to see how accurate past forecasts were (Professional), statutory late payment claims on overdue invoices, and chase emails drafted for you (Enterprise).
