Pricing for accounting practices
One monthly bill for your practice: a platform fee for the practice tools, plus the plans of any clients you choose to pay for. 30-day free trial, no card.
How the bill works
Two parts, on one bill. Clients who pay for themselves are billed to them, not to you.
Part 1
Platform fee
For staff users, the overview of every client and switching between them. Set by how many clients are linked to the practice, whoever pays for them.
| Up to 10 clients | £39.99 a month |
| 11 to 25 clients | £79.99 a month |
| 26 to 50 clients | £149.99 a month |
| More than 50 clients | Agreed with you |
Part 2
Clients you pay for
Only for clients you choose to pay for. Each is on its own plan at the practice price, lower than the client would pay on their own.
| Starter | £54.99 a month£69.99 when the client pays |
| Professional | £119.99 a month£149.99 when the client pays |
| Enterprise | £279.99 a month£349.99 when the client pays |
An example

| Platform fee (11 to 25 clients) | £79.99 |
|---|---|
| 5 × Professional at £119.99 | £599.95 |
| 7 clients who pay for themselves | Billed to them |
| The practice pays | £679.94 a month |
Getting started
From sign-up to your first client in a few minutes.
1
Start a practice trial
Create your login and name your practice. The trial is 30 days and needs no card.
2
Add your clients
Create a client and connect their books, or link a client who already uses Cadence. For each one, choose whether the practice pays or the client does.
3
Invite your team
Add staff and admins. Staff can open every client read-only; admins can also work in the clients the practice pays for.
4
Add a card before the trial ends
From your practice page. You are not charged until the trial ends, and the bill updates itself, pro rata, when you add or remove clients or change a plan.
Practice billing questions
Do clients who pay for themselves cost the practice anything?
No. They are billed to the client at the normal price. They only count towards the number of linked clients that sets your platform fee.
Can we start paying for a client who pays for themselves?
Yes. Offer to pay from your practice page and the client's admin accepts. If the client has a subscription of its own, the move happens when it ends, so nobody pays twice.
Can we stop paying for a client?
Yes. Hand the client over from your practice page. They get a 14-day trial to choose their own plan and keep all their data, and your practice keeps read-only access. The client needs an admin of their own first.
What happens if the practice subscription ends?
The clients you pay for lock until it restarts. Their data is kept. Clients who pay for themselves are not affected.
How often are we billed?
Monthly. Changes during the month are added to your next bill pro rata.
We have more than 50 clients.
Talk to us and we will agree a price with you: email support@cadencefi.co.uk.
Do we need a practice account to see one client's forecast?
No. A client who uses Cadence can invite you for free, read-only, and you can be linked to up to three clients that way. See free access for accountants.
Try it with your clients for 30 days.
Set up your practice, add a few clients and see every forecast in one place. No card needed.
